CLAYTON — Services for Hattie Mae Foster, 75, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark Baptist Church in Clayton.
Burial will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Clayton under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Zion Hill Baptist Church and from noon until service time Saturday at St. Mark Baptist Church.
Mrs. Foster was born June 6, 1937, in Wildsville, La., the daughter of Wash and Luella Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnnie Foster; one sister, Daisy Frazier; and one great-grandchild, Sha’Miya La’Shay Hawkins.
Survivors include four loving daughters, Arleen Anderson and husband, the Rev. Willie Anderson, of Natchez, Lula Woods and husband, Otis, Lora Foster, and Brenda Johnson and husband, Robert, all of Ferriday; two devoted sons, Johnnie A. Foster Jr. of Carterville, Ga., and Paul Foster and wife, Sherry, of Ferriday; three sisters, Lucille Bethly and husband, Purcell, Katie Davis, all of Ferriday, and Helen Frazier and husband, Goven, of New Orleans; one godchild, Issac Lewis; a special son, Gregory Anderson; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
