NATCHEZ — A thief who broke into the storage building at Big Mama’s Southern Style Bar-B-Que may have gotten all the makings for a good barbecue cookout.

Natchez police are on the lookout for a suspect who reportedly stole two slabs of pork butts, one slab of beef brisket and a case of beer from Big Mama’s on John R. Junkin Drive late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

According to the police report, the items, valued at $135, were reported stolen after an employee noticed the items missing from the walk-in cooler inside the business’ storage building.

The thief may have entered the cooler through a large opening in the back wall of the building.
