EDDICETON — Services for James W. Halford, 62, of Meadville, who died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be at 11 a.m. today at Eddiceton Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mr. Halford was born Feb. 13, 1950, in Bude, the son of Wesley and Helen Rollins Halford. He was retired from American Railcar in Bude.
Mr. Halford also coached summer ball for 32 years and served on the Sixtown Water Board for 34 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorris J. Causey Halford; and one son, Billy Glennis.
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Parker and husband, Chuck, of Natchez; five sisters, Louise Combs and husband, Jerry, Doris Foy and husband, John, Bonnie McGeever and Polly Platt and husband, Ernie, all of Roxie, and Maxine Buie and husband, Jimmy, of Meadville; one sister-in-law, Betty Edwards of Meadville; and faithful friend, Bo.
