NATCHEZ — Services for Myrna Lois Gentsch Browning, 75, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. today at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Walton Jones and the Rev. Sam Tomlinson officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Browning was born Oct. 30, 1936, in Kosciusko, the daughter of J. A. Gentsch Sr. and Lois Walker Gentsch.
Myrna was a fun-loving woman, married to her husband for a wonderful 58 years, loved her family first and loved to travel. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Browning was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jimmy Gentsch.
Survivors include her husband, William J. Browning; one son, Bill Browning of Petal; one daughter, Melodie Browning of Natchez; five grandchildren, Mandy Breithaupt of Clinton, Valerie Ford of Natchez, Will Browning of Huntsville, Ala., Lee Browning of Sacramento, Calif., and Becky Myrick of Petal; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Layne Browning, Will Browning, J. Stewart, Eli Washington, John Swalm and Evan Myrick.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital or the Natchez Adams County Humane Shelter.
