Mrs. Courtney Allmand Oglesby and Mr. Howell Randolph Oglesby of Tuscaloosa, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Elise Oglesby to Andrew Luke Kniphfer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Wayne Kniphfer of Birmingham, Ala.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hillcrest High School in Tuscaloosa and a graduate of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She is employed by Tuscaloosa Accoustical.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Anne B. Allmand and the late Mr. Fred W. Allmand and Mr. and Mrs. Howell Lem Oglesby, all of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Clay Chalkville High in Birmingham, Ala., and is a student at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. He is employed by Townsend Honda in Tuscaloosa.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Kniphfer of Huntsville, Ala., Mr. and Mrs. James White of South Carolina and the late Mr. Howard Luke of Connecticut.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at First United Methodist Church in Tuscaloosa.

A reception will follow at Indian Hills Country Club.
