FAYETTE — Services for Ella Mae Lowe, 83, of Fayette, who died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at noon Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at the Forest Grove Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lowe was born April 26, 1929, in Natchez, the daughter of Lucille Reed and Jim Brown.
She was a member of the Mother Board at Forest Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny D. Lowe; one son, Charles Lowe; one son-in-law, Willard E. Lee; one brother, Herman Davenport; and one nephew, Sam Bacon.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny Lowe Sr. and wife, Joyce, of Fayette, and Carl L. Lowe, and wife, Mary Ann, of Natchez; four daughters, Bobbie J. Erves of Livonia, Mich., Mary E. Lee of Fayette, Linda L. Herington of Natchez and Tracy A. Lowe of Fayette; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Susie Marie Bacon of Washington; one brother-in-law, Henry L. Lowe and wife, Y.C., of Jackson; special friend, Rosie Buckles of Roxie; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
