Mr. and Mrs. David Schwetschenau of Lexington, Ky., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kristen Wendy Schwetschenau to Hunter Lynn Posey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Posey of Union Church.

The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of the University of Mississippi and a 2010 graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing.

She is employed by UMMC as a registered nurse and is currently pursuing a master’s degree of science in nursing at UMMC.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick John Luiz of San Rafael, Calif., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schwetschenau of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The groom-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in business administration. He received his master’s degree in public policy and administration from Belhaven University in 2010. He is the owner of Hunter L. Posey and Associates, LLC, Alfa Insurance Agency in Natchez and owner of Southwest Mississippi Land Company, LLC, Union Church.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gibson Singletary of Crystal Springs and the late Mr. and Mrs. L.D. Posey of Union Church.

The wedding will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lexington.

A reception will follow at Fasig-Tipton.
