NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Michael David Smith, 64, of Madison, and formerly of Natchez, who died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2012, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Natchez City Cemetery.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was born July 16, 1948, in Natchez, the son of Harvey Ralph Smith and Anna Lee Cranfield Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Smith; one stepson, Mack Bailey of Madison; and one cousin, Maurice Levite of Alexandria, Va.

Memorials may be made to the Community Animal Rescue and Adoption (CARA), 960 Flag Chapel Road, Jackson, MS 39209.
