NATCHEZ — Services for Carolyn Adams Hall, 86, who died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Crown Health and Rehab, will be at 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hall was born March 29, 1926, in Natchez, the daughter of Lonnie Longmire and Anita Kaiser Longmire. She was a member of the Natchez Garden Club. She also served for a number of years on the board of directors of the King Daughters Home.

Mrs. Hall enjoyed a number of years of receiving during Pilgrimage at Elms Court. She enjoyed traveling with Friends Five-0, getting together with the “Birthday Girls,” line dancing and water aerobics.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anita K. Luscombe; her father, Lonnie Longmire; her husband of 38 years, Curtis P. Adams; and two sisters, Neet Marks and Vivian Vaught.

Survivors include her husband, William T. “Bill” Hall; one daughter, Tanna Davis and husband, Vidal; one brother, Tony Byrne and wife, Annette; five nieces, Kristie Byrne Chandler and husband, John, Pat Jonaitis and husband, Adolph, Lisa Marks, René Adams and Patricia Rouse; and seven nephews, Kevin Byrne and wife, Rosie, Rusty Marks and wife, Terry, Byrnsie Marks and wife, Patricia, Vernon Smith and wife, Peggy, Ricky Smith and wife, Micki, Larry Bass and Richard Adams.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Marks, Byrnsie Marks, Tony Byrne, Richard Adams, Ricky Smith and Vernon Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Adolph Jonaitis, Kevin Byrne, John Chandler and Larry Bass.

Memorials made be made to the Natchez Humane Society or the Natchez City Cemetery.
