Mr. and Mrs. Michael Blain Sr. of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Blain to Matthew Wimberly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wimberly of Greenville, S.C.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral School in Natchez and a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She is employed by HD Supply in Atlanta.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter W. Blain of Mount Olive and Mrs. Marie Polk and the late Mr. Frank Polk of Zwolle, La.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Mauldin High School in Mauldin, S.C. and a graduate of Clemson University in Clemson, S.C. He is employed by Big Red Rooster in Atlanta.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Sammie McAbee and the late Mr. Jim McAbee of Greenville, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wimberly of Rock Hill, S.C.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Mingo Point in Kiawah Island, S.C.

A reception will follow.
