Mildred Stampley, 66, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Natchez Market 2. Fine set at $444.
Darrius Kentrell Owens, 19, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 48 hours in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $444.
Ryvonda Dunlap pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Fine set at $344.
Curtis Sanders pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Fine set at $294 minus $75 for time served. Must pay a fine of $219.
Monday, Sept. 10:
Guyanthony Owen Allen, 21, found guilty of possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $633.
Jasmine L. Herrington, 23, found guilty of disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344 minus $144 suspended. Must pay a fine of $200.
Nicole McSwain, 34, pleaded guilty to three counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Total fine set at $873.42.
Terrance T. Thornburg, 19, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $444.
Tuesday, Sept. 11:
Savon T. Anderson, 19, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor trespass less than larceny. Sentenced to 90 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $450.
Jarrell D. Franklin, 20, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor trespass less than larceny. Sentenced to 90 days with 29 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Sixty-one days served. No fine assessed.
Melissa Cotten Blackwell, 38, charged with seven counts of uttering a forgery. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.
Andre L. Doss, 30, charged with uttering a forgery. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held. Bond set at $4,000.
Marco Turner, 28, charged with forged, false or fraudulent prescription. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $24,000 to $16,000.
Wednesday, Sept. 12:
Kelvin T. Thompson, 39, found guilty of stalking – first offense (misdemeanor). Sentenced to 90 days with 45 days to serve. No fine assessed.
Oliver Allen Doss, 58, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case remanded to files at request of officer and prosecution.
