NATCHEZ — The persistent and, at times, heavy rain that came through the Miss-Lou Monday forced one area fast-pitch softball team to postpone its game and led to another cancelation.
Adams County Christian School’s MAIS District 5-AA home junior varsity and varsity games against Brookhaven Academy were rained out. Lady Rebels head coach Forrest Foster said the varsity game has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday. There will be no JV game between the two schools.
Centreville Academy’s non-district JV and varsity home games against Columbia Academy were also called due to the inclement weather. Lady Tigers head coach Mark Mann said that because the regular season ends this week and since Columbia Academy is a non-district opponent, the games will not be rescheduled.
