NATCHEZ — Services for Claudia Lee Davis, 74, of Natchez, who died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Traci Cusic officiating.

Burial will follow at Southwood Lodge Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from noon until service time Friday at the church.

Mrs. Davis was born March 22, 1938, in Natchez, the daughter of Cleveland and Alneter Butler. She was a member of Southwood Lodge Baptist Church.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Carolyn McGill; and one granddaughter, Rosalind Mayfield.

Survivors include four daughters, Beatrice Butler, Malinda Butler and husband, Glen, Rosetta Anderson and husband, Stanton, all of Natchez, and Aylene Archie of Atlanta; three sons, James Davis, Deselle Davis and wife, Dorothy, all of Natchez, and Jerry Davis and wife, Sheneka, of Atlanta; two sisters, Mary Ann Butler and Florence Mosby, both of Natchez; two brothers, Frank Butler of Garland, Texas and Cleveland Hunt of Bossier City, La.; one godchild, Marsha Richardson; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
