FAYETTE — Services for Irene P. Buckles, 94, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Adams County Nursing Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Taylor’s Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.

Burial will follow a the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Buckles was born July 14, 1918, in Jonesboro, La., the daughter of Nathaniel Paul and Selina Sanders Paul. She was a seamstress and a member of Taylor’s Chapel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, John Buckles; one daughter, Doris Williams of Las Vegas; one goddaughter, Jean Rankin of Fayette; one stepson, Michael Buckles of Natchez; and a number of other relatives and friends.
