FEMA recovery centers closing doors today

NATCHEZ — The disaster recovery centers at Parkway Baptist Church in Adams County and at the Wilkinson County Industrial Complex in Wilkinson County will close at 7 p.m. today.

The disaster recovery centers were opened following Tropical Storm Isaac.

Even though the physical locations for the centers are closed, Federal Emergency Management Agency Spokesman Gene Kauffman said residents seeking storm recovery assistance may register for help online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by phone at 800-621-3362 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily.
