Mr. Lester W. Yeargin of Columbia, S.C., announces the engagement of his daughter, Alisa R. Yeargin to Anthony D. Mosby, son of Ms. Nancy Mosby and Andew Morgan of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Mrs. Alberta C. Yeargin of Columbia.

She is a graduate of Eau Claire High School in Columbia and a graduate of South Carolina State University where she received a bachelor of science degree in biology. She is also a graduate of Howard University where she received a master’s degree in physical therapy. Miss Yeargin is employed by Carrollton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as a physical therapist.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and attended Glenville State College in West Virginia. He is employed by Cobb County Sheriff’s Office in Marietta, Ga., as a deputy sheriff.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at the Commerce Club in Atlanta.

A reception will follow.
