FERRIDAY — Memorial services for Sherree Anne Hood Pullen Freeman, 34, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at her residence, will be held at Ridgecrest Baptist Church at a later date.
Sherree was born Nov. 13, 1977, in Natchez, the daughter of Sherree Pullen Davis and Hubert James Hood. She was a graduate of Ferriday High School and Concordia Parish Trade School.
Sherree worked as a bookkeeper for former Mayor Glen McGlothin and as a cashier for a number of years. She was a member of Living Shade Baptist Church in Columbia, La., and the International Jews Association. She loved riding horses and participating in beauty pageants.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Hood Sr., Mr. and Mrs. John D. Pullen and Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Owens; and godfather, Charles Dusty Owens.
Survivors include her mother; her husband, Michael Glenn Freeman; one son, Braydon Thomas Freeman; stepfathers, Gary Dalton Davis and Paul Everette Crawford; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Freeman, Sherri Freeman and G.W. Welch Ross; and uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John David “Pulley Bone” Pullen.
