CLINTON — A celebration of life services for Benjamin H. Hopper, 62, who went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at CMMC Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday, both at the funeral home.
Mr. Hopper was born May 31, 1950, in Hot Springs, Ark., the son of Eugene and Katherine Hopper. He was a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. His career was in retail building materials sales. He was a member of the SCV Lowry Rifles Camp No. 1740.
Mr. Hopper was a longtime member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton. His greatest joy was found in sharing time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Hopper; one daughter, Laura Michelle Causey and husband, Brent, of Summit; three grandchildren, Courtney Michelle, Chelsey Ann and Caleb Benjamin Causey; four brothers, Tom Hopper and wife, Gloria, of Rogers, Ark., John L. Hopper and wife, Cindy, of Perryville, Ark., Steve Hopper of Monroe, La., and Eddie Hopper of Brandon; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ben will be remembered most for his sense of humor, his kind and generous heart and his eagerness to help others.
