Franklin County gets first region win 43-14

CRYSTAL SPRINGS — Crystal Springs had no answer for Franklin County running back Chris Robinson, who torched the Tigers for 247 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries as the Bulldogs came away with a 43-14 win in MHSAA Region 7-3A action.
Robinson had touchdown runs of 1, 62 and 54 yards to go along with a 74-yard touchdown catch from Jadarius Davis and five tackles on defense.
Davis had a good game throwing the ball for Franklin County as he completed 5 of 9 passes for 154 yards and three touchdowns. Trey Hannon led the defense with 11 tackles, and Darin Wiley had 10 tackles.
Franklin County (5-4, 1-2) hosts Prentiss next Friday.
