NATCHEZ — A Natchez man is behind bars after reportedly robbing an acquaintance near Barnes Fish Market on Martin Luther King Jr. Street.

Natchez Detective Jerry Ford said Marvin A. Jones, 44, 1117 Opal Drive, was charged with robbery Wednesday.

Jones reportedly followed an acquaintance out of the fish market, Ford said, and tried to get the man’s wallet out of his back pocket. The two then began to wrestle, and Jones overpowered his acquaintance and stole $198 out of the man’s wallet.
