VIDALIA — Services for Clarence “Sweet” King Jr., 56, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at noon Saturday at Starlight Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Leroy Brown officiating.
Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. King was born June 18, 1956, in Boston, the son of Clarence King Sr. and Jennett Washington King.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two brothers, Marvin King and wife, Francis, and Derrick Collins; three sisters, Mildred Williams, Ruby Woodfork, all of Vidalia, and Mary Means and husband, Deon, of Clarksville, Tenn.; two aunts, Mildred Millicks and Louise Yearby, both of Vidalia; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
