NATCHEZ — Funeral services for James Conrad, 92, o f Natchez, who died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012 at Arnold’s Personal Care Home in Natchez, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Zion Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Johnny Elery officiating.

Burial will follow in the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Concordia Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until time of services Monday at the church.

Mr. Conrad was born Dec. 25, 1919 in Woodville, the son of George and Katie Griffin Conrad. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and was retired from Amtrak Railroad. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betty Conrad.

Survivors include one son, Willie James Conrad of Chicago; one sister, Alma C. Conrad of Vidalia; a devoted companion of over 20 years, Rosie Blunton of Los Angeles; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
