NATCHEZ — Services for Abe Shelly III, 52, of Natchez, who died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mark Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Stanton officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Shelly was born Oct. 14, 1960, in Natchez, the son of Abe Shelly Jr. and Ora Nell Berry Shelly. He was a 1979 graduate of North Natchez High School. He was a former employee of Mike’s Tire Company and Gene’s Tire Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Rosie Jackson Shelly; five children, Gene Dromgoole, Cedrick Jackson, Calvin Jackson, Tammy Washington, all of Dallas, and Phillip Dromgoole of Natchez; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Vivian Chatman and husband, David, of Natchez, Joyce Washington of Minneapolis, Minn., Deloris Berry Shelly Stewart and husband, Thomas, and Beatrice B. Shelly Ashley and husband, Derrick, all of Hattiesburg; and a number of other relatives and friends.
