WINNSBORO — Services for James William Davis, 67, a farmer of Newellton, La., who died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Gill First National Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro with the Rev. Whit Bass officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Davis was born Nov. 25, 1944, the son of Gov. Jimmie Davis and Alvern Adams Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Dianne Keahey Davis; one daughter, DeCarla Sunshine Davis Netterville and husband, Jeff, of Natchez; and two grandchildren, Summer Katlyn Netterville and Addie Grace Netterville.
