MEADVILLE — Graveside services for James Douglas “Paw-Paw” Cobb, 91, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Midway Cemetery.

Burial will follow under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the cemetery.

Mr. Cobb was born May 3, 1921, in Bude, the son of James Monroe Cobb and Vera Maude Willis Cobb.

He was a hardwood floor finisher. He was well known from New Orleans to Memphis, Tenn., for his work on hardwood floors.

Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Louise Hawks Cobb; one sister and five brothers.

Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Cobb Red and companion, Carl Bradshaw; two sons, Douglas Cobb and wife, Janis, and Michael Cobb; four grandchildren, Justin Cobb, Ginny Cobb, Michelle Cobb Thomason and husband, Will, and Dora Moore and husband, Mikeal; seven great-grandchildren, Hayden Cobb, Taylor Thomason, McKenzie Thomason, Jaime Cobb, Austin Cobb, Andrea Moore Gregory, and Austin Moore; two great-great-grandchildren, Rhyen Cobb and Hayden Moore; and special family member, Jeanine Evans.

Pallbearers will be Danny Smith, Spanky Felter, Ellis Felter, Ricky Champlin, Justin Cobb and Jaime Cobb.
