JENA, La. — Services for Wanda Dayle Smith, 52, of Natchez, who died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, were Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Keene and the Rev. Johnnie Phillips officiating.
Burial followed at Woodland Cemetery in Jena. La., under the direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith was born April 13, 1960, in Jena, the daughter of Edward and Bobbie Barton Smith. She was a professional pet groomer, an avid musician and was known for her “green thumb.”
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Barton; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Smith.
Survivors include three sons, Brandon Thompson, Josh Smith and Ross Smith, all of Natchez; two sisters, Rhonda Toler and Sandra Adams, both of Jena; two brothers, Roger Smith of Houston, Texas and James Smith of Rayville, La.; two previous husbands, Archie Thompson Jr. of Jena and Stan Smith of Natchez; stepmother, Rose Mary Smith; and a number of nieces, nephews, uncles and one aunt.
Pallbearers were Craig Toler, Graig Toler, Chad Wilbanks, Raymond Smith, Jacob Toler and Bryan Faulkner.
Honorary pallbearers were Austin Smith and Samuel Toler.
