NATCHEZ — Services for James “Buddy” McAdams, 71, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Parkway Baptist Church with Dr. Ronnie Mitchell and the Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating.
Graveside services and burial will be at 3 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Tullos, La., under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Mr. McAdams was born Dec. 6, 1940, in Tullos, the son of Mitchell McAdams and Lois Davis McAdams. He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and the adult five Sunday school department.
Mr. McAdams was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Johnny McAdams, Jerry McAdams, Jackie McAdams and Joe McAdams; and one granddaughter, Adrianna Lynn Milling.
Survivors include his wife, Delores McAdams; three daughters, Lori Boudreaux and husband, Randy, of Pascagoula, Cathy Matte and husband, Darren, of Denham Springs, La., and Janet Lalonde and husband, Sean I., of Belle Chasse, La.; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Galmiche, David Galmiche Jr., Brandon Boudreaux, Brooke Boudreaux, Melanie Melancon, Sean R. Lalonde, Blake Lalonde and Dustin Lalonde; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Sean R. Lalonde, Blake Lalonde, Dustin Lalonde, David Galmiche, Brandon Boudreaux and Michael McAdams.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkway Baptist Church Children’s Playground Fund.
