NATCHEZ — Four visitors to the former Robert Lewis Middle School earlier this week were apparently not there with learning on their mind or nostalgia for the good old days of junior high.
According to a report filed at the Natchez Police Department Wednesday, Adams County Constable Ray Brown noticed that someone had broken into the former middle school building, which is not in use for classes this year due to the school district’s reorganization.
Items missing included three computers, a monitor, a video projector and a printer. Four windows were also damaged, the report said.
The report also states that Brown reviewed security camera footage of the building and saw that four males were involved in the burglary.
The matter is under investigation.
