Ben Hillyer/The Natchez Democrat — The Great Lakes Cruise Company ship Yorktown brought 144 passengers to tour the Miss-Lou Monday. The ship which stopped in the area as it made its way down the river visited Vicksburg Sunday. Passengers visited antebellum houses and the St. Catherine Creek Wildlife Refuge.

The cruise ship, which docked on the Vidalia side of the Mississippi River, measures 257-feet long and 43-feet wide. It is part of the Great Lakes Cruise Company and travels up and down America’s small waterways.
