FAYETTE — Services for Doris “Sugar Mama” Ellis-Nealy, 69, of Fayette, who died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fayette, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fountain Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Marvin Eanochs.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Nealy was born Dec. 13, 1942, in Fayette, the daughter of Clarinda McDonald and David Ellis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Henry Nealy; one daughter, Lynda Ann Nealy; two sisters, Geneva Fountain and Bertha Ellis; and one brother, Roosevelt Ellis.

Survivors include one loving and devoted daughter, Bessie M. Nealy-DeVaul and husband, Willie; three loving grandchildren, Philisha and husband, Kevin, Kamensi and JaJuan; five nieces, Gloria Hawkins, Annette Willis and husband, Freddie, Geraldine Farrow, Estella Smith and Flora Mae Banks; nine nephews, Issac Johnson and wife, Reversia, Andrew Fountain and wife, Daisy, Angus Fountain and wife, Debbie, Curtis Fountain and wife, Ann, Jeffrey Fountain and wife, Shelia, St. Clair Fountain and wife, Shirley, Marion Ellis and wife, Joyce, Alan Ellis and Ronald Lee Ellis; and a number of great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
