ROXIE — Funeral services for Mrs. Polly Frances Bacon, 69, of Roxie, who died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Isaac Tenner officiating.

Burial will follow at Byrd Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at the church from 8 a.m. Monday until time of services.

Mrs. Bacon was born Nov. 26, 1943 in Kirby, the daughter of B.J. Hall and Laney McDaniel. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Bacon and several uncles.

Survivors include one aunt, Helen Chatman of Natchez; one uncle, Able McDaniel; three special cousins, Nell McDaniel, Tkeyah McDaniel and Sam Coleman; a very special friend, Clara Foster, and a number of other cousins and friends.
