BUNKLEY — Funeral services for Billy D. Arnold, 86, of Meadville, who died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Meadville Convalescent Home in Meadville will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bunkley Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Bunkley Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the church.

Mr. Arnold was born Nov. 16, 1926, in Adams County. He was the son of Hoyt Byrd and Ola Arnold. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for several years as a carpenter and electrician. He was of the Church of God faith and a member of Praise Cathedral Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eleanor Zeske Arnold; and one daughter, Cheryl Darlene Arnold Smith.

Survivors include three sons, Jimmy D. Arnold and wife, Cissi, of Bunkley, Ronald E. Arnold and wife, Shirley Faye, of Bunkley and Paul S. Arnold and wife, Faye, of Natchez; two brothers, Jimmy Byrd of Bunkley and Charles Edwards and wife, Betty, of Bunkley; one sister, Frances Nobles and husband, Earl, of Clinton; seven grandchildren, Debbie Smallwood, Steve Arnold, Christy Rabb, Angela Harried, Amy Arnold, Bridget Jordan and Corey Arnold; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Steve Arnold, Corey Arnold, Manson Smallwood, Clay Smallwood, Nicklaus Brisco and Stephen Arnold.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kole Junkin, Pate Shirley, Judson Arnold and Cade Cangemi.
