FAYETTE — Services for Maxine Doss, 47, of Fayette, who died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, in her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Lonnie Culbert officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Ms. Doss was born July 25, 1965, in Fayette, the daughter of Jim William and Laurie Lee Doss. She was educated in the Jefferson County schools.

Ms. Doss was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Howard Edward Doss.

Survivors include lifelong companion, Bennie Nix Jr. of Fayette; one sister, Josie Doss of Stampley; two brothers, Mark Doss of Natchez and Stanley Doss of Stampley; two aunts, Lovie Doss of Stampley and Elouise Doss of Baton Rouge; a nephew she raised as her own, Jawaski Doss of Stampley; a number of nieces, nephew, relatives and friends; and a very special lady who was part of her life, Thelma Nix of Fayette.
