NATCHEZ — Services for Archie Clark, 77, of Natchez, who died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Daughters of Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. D.W. Howard officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Clark was born Oct. 1, 1935, in Adams County, the son of Willie Joe Clark and Ella Robinson Clark. He was a retired welder for Browning Oil and Tools.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Archie Clark; and seven siblings, Emma Davis, Willie Mae Singleton, Josie Banks, Marie Brown, Estelle Mangee, Charles Brown and William Thompson.
Survivors include his wife, Orelia Mazique Clark; four daughters, Bobbie Majors of Dallas, Donna Foster and husband, Larry, of Brookhaven, Sherill Humphrey and husband, George, of Jackson and Iria Davis and husband, Julius, of Lorman; three sons, Kenneth Clark, Larry Clark and Fidel Clark, all of Natchez; 15 grandchildren; a number of other relatives and friends; and a special friend, Jim Browning of Texas.
