PORT ST. JOE, Fla. — A memorial service for Franklin Page Bauer, 64, of Port St. Joe, Fla., who died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, after a brief illness, will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe.

Frank was a longtime proprietor of High Point, a bed and breakfast in Natchez where he loved to cook for and entertain guests.

Frank grew up in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School. He went on to graduate from Delta State University in Cleveland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl A. Bauer and Betty Bauer Anzaldo; longtime friend and partner, John Davis; and a number of beloved aunts and uncles.

Survivors include one sister, Beth Bauer and husband, Andy Durance; one brother, Carl Bauer and wife, Connie, and their children, Brett and Jessica, and their families; one uncle, Fred P. Bauer and wife, Yvonne; and a number of cousins.
