Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Bradford announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Rose Bradford to Barrett Lon Arthur, son of Mrs. Pam Arthur and the late Mr. Morris Ray Arthur, all of Ferriday.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Huntington High School in Ferriday and a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She is also a graduate of Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. She is employed by Key Rehabs Associates in Natchez as a physical therapist.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bradford of Jonesville and Mrs. Agnes Roberts and the late Mr. Henry Schober Roberts Sr. of Ferriday.

The groom-to-be is self-employed as a farmer in Ferriday. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Arthur of Ferriday and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Tennison of Sicily Island.

The wedding will be at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church in Natchez.

A reception will follow at the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center.

Family and friends are invited.
