Join us in celebrating Catholic schools

Celebration is in the air as Catholic schools across America celebrate the important role Catholic schools play in providing their students with a high quality, faith-based education.
It is no secret that Holy Family Early Learning Center is known for educating its students. They leave Holy Family with the abilities to comprehend and excel on their grade level or even beyond their counterparts.
We are truly appreciative of our directors, teachers, staff, volunteers and community for their contributions to our school and students.
This week, we are celebrating Catholic Schools Week, and our theme is “Raising the Standard.” Our directors, teachers and staff are dedicated to serving the parents, community and students of Holy Family Early Learning Center. I would like to say that planning and preparation make for perfect performance.
We have celebrated 100 days of school, Thanksgiving and Christmas; now it’s time for a new celebration — Catholic Schools Week. With this in mind, we know that in order to make a smooth transition into the next academic year, 2013-2014, we want to prepare for our incoming students, along with our returning students.
Our product is education, and we want you to buy and invest in your child’s future.
Registration will begin this week, and the fee is $75. After Feb. 28, the cost will increase.
We are trying to recruit, reclaim and retain our students. We invite you to come and share with us this week.
Our schedule for this year’s Catholic Schools Week is:
- Today — Student appreciation day
- Tuesday — Parent appreciation day
- Wednesday — Teachers appreciation day
- Thursday — Alumni, friends, pastor day
- Friday — Community service day
We look forward to seeing you one of those days. Our slogan is “Live so we can love so we can learn.”
Joyce Coulston is a part-time educator and is chairwoman of Catholic Schools Week.
