FERRIDAY — Services for Annie Mae Riley, 90, who died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, La., will be at 10 a.m. today at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Gerhardt officiating.

Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Riley was born May 16, 1922, in Yazoo City, the daughter of Walton M. and Maud Ella Brown Cruse.

Mrs. Riley loved crocheting and cooking. She loved her family and cooked for all of them, even friends that came by to visit. She always made them have something to eat before they left her house.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Riley; and one grandson, Jerry Lee Gerhardt.

Survivors include one son, Charles David Riley of Vidalia; two daughters, JoAnn Graves of Holden, La., and Brenda McConnachie and husband, Dave, of Spring, Texas; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Hamilton, Stephen Gerhardt, Craig Sanders, Evan Sanders, Ronnie “Boo” Blaney and Jason Ward.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald West, Dennis Sanders, Jerry Gerhardt, Eddie Graves and Joey Gerhardt.
