Natchez Garden Club announces pageant court

NATCHEZ — The Natchez Garden Club has announced the 2013 royal court for the Historic Natchez Tableaux. The pages, maids and generals in the royal court will serve the Natchez Garden Club’s king and queen during their reign in the upcoming Spring Pilgrimage.
The court is as follows:
Zac Cardwell Arnold
Zac Cardwell Arnold is the son Mr. and Mrs. Douglas C. Arnold. He is the grandson of Louise May Dore of Natchez and the late Noel H. “Sonny” Dore and Cardwell Arnold Jr. of Natchez and Rosemary Crawford Ramsey of Boyton Beach, Fla.
Zac is a 2009 graduate of Cathedral High School and attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College.
He is a member of Assumption Catholic Church and the Boy Scouts.
Zac enjoys hunting, fishing, waterskiing and tailgaiting.
Cameron Jess Horton
Cameron Jess Horton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Horton. He is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. William C. Coney of Jonesville, La., and Mr. and Mrs. Don Horton of Ferriday.
Cameron is a 2010 graduate of Cathedral High School. He currently attends Louisiana State University where he is a junior majoring in petroleum engineering.
Cameron received the Coach Roy Garcia Award his senior year at Cathedral, which is given annually to a Cathedral senior student athlete who exemplifies character and contributes to the school and community. Cameron was a member of the National Honor Society and he graduated as a 4-year “A” Honors graduate from Cathedral. He received an AESC (Association of Energy Services Companies) scholarship upon graduation and through 4 semesters at LSU. Based on his high ACT score, Cameron received the LSU Tiger Scholars Scholarship that waives out of state tuition for all years of attendance. He also received an LSU freshman reward toward tuition for keeping high grades his freshman year.
Cameron is a member of SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) and HOSBD (Hereditary Order of Signers of the Bush Declaration).
He enjoys hunting, fishing, running and attending LSU football games.
Cameron’s past pageant participation includes working behind the scenes helping pageant participants.
Kenneth Cole Mann
Kenneth Cole Mann is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Shane Mann. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Butler of Natchez and Mrs. Elizabeth Ann
Mann and the late Kenneth Neil Mann of Roxie.
Cole is a 2010 graduate of Cathedral High School. He attends Louisiana State University majoring in environmental management systems through the School of Agriculture at LSU.
Cole is the 2012-2013 recipient of the Board of Supervisors Scholarship at LSU. He is a member of the Intramural activity team at LSU. He has played on the men’s intramural softball team and plans to play on the soccer team as well. He has been a member of the Centurion Club and traveled to New Orleans to explore the National World War II Museum.
Cole enjoys bow hunting and spending time with friends and family at the camp. He also enjoys playing golf and almost any competive sport including soccer and baseball. Cole has been certified to referee high school soccer and loves to interact with high school athletes. He loves spending time with his family and attending any Cathedral or LSU sporting event.
Cole’s past pageant participation includes four years of dancing in Soireé.
Mark Elliot McCann Jr.
Mark Elliott McCann Jr. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark McCann. He is the grandson of Mr. Bruce Elliott McCann and the late Janet Chism McCann of Natchez and Helen Burke Flowers of Natchez.
Elliott is a 2010 graduate of Cathedral High School. He was a 2012 Honor Graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He is currently employed by D&D Drilling Company.
In high school, Elliott was a 4-year letterman in football, soccer and 3-year letterman in golf.
He was awarded best lineman, team captain, and All-Region 1st Team in football his senior year.
He was also awarded most valuable player in soccer his senior year and most consistant player in golf his senior year. He was a member of National Technical Honor Society whle at Co-Lin.He was also chosen Who’s Who in 2012 at Co-Lin. He is an Eagle Scout.
Elliott enjoys hunting and fishing.
His past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, The Picnic, The Wedding, The Polka, American Flag Bearer and The Soiree’ dancing the lead his senior year.
Douglas Wayne Netterville Jr.
Douglas Wayne Netterville, Jr. is the son of Doug Netterville Sr. and Shannon Gilligan. He is the grandson of Patricia and Lester Smith of Natchez and the late Lafayette Netterville and the late John and Nancy McMahon.
Doug is a 2011 graduate of Northwest Rankin High School. He currently attends Holmes Junior College School of Business.
In high school Doug lettered in football his freshman, sophomore and senior years as well as received various football honors and achievements. At Holmes Jr. College Doug is on the dean’s list for academic excellence.
Doug is a member of Pinelake Baptist Church in Flowood.
He enjoys LSU football, hunting, fishing, all outdoor acitivities, working out, refinishing and restoring furniture, and spending time with friends and family.
His past pageant participation includes Little Maypole and NGC Court 2012.
Michael Joseph Roboski Jr.
Michael Joseph Roboski, Jr. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cathy Roboski. He is the grandson of John and Alice Knight of Vicksburg and the late Grace Nunnery Knight of Natchez and the late William and Frances Piazza Roboski of Vicksburg.
Michael is a 2010 graduate of Cathedral High School and currently is a Junior at University of Louisiana-Monroe majoring in Business and Marketing.
Michael is a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity where he is a Founding Father and Sgt. at Arms, Emerging Scholars Program member and a member of Campus Activity Board and Telecounselor for ULM Recruitment and Admissions.
Michael enjoys music, sports and kayaking.
His past pageant participation includes Big Mapole, Showboat and Soireé.
Aaron Kyle Sandifer
Aaron Kyle Sandifer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton “Kyle” Sandifer. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Sandifer of Ruston, La. and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brasher of Natchez, Ms.
Aaron is a 2010 graduate of Cathedral High School and currently attends Louisiana Tech University majoring in Engineering.
In high school Aaron played football and soccer and was a member of the Key Club.
Aaron enjoys reading, hunting, fishing and riding ATV’s.
His past pageant participation includes The Picnic and Soiree’.
Davis Elizabeth Beard
Davis Elizabeth Beard is the daughter of Bret and Marla Beard. She is the granddaughter of David and Linda Paulk of Larto, La. and Virginia Beard of Monterey, La. and the late Curtis Beard of Monterey, La.
Davis is a 2010 graduate of Cathedral High School. She attends Louisiana State University majoring in Kinesiology/Pre Med.
She was Valedictorian of Cathedral graduating class of 2010, Miss CHS, 5-time state champion in 1A Mississippi High School Tennis, STAR student, CARE Award Recipient, Phi
Sigma Theta National Honor Society, Naional Society of Collegiate Scholars, Golden Key International Honor Society, Kinesiology Club, Apha Epsilon Delta Pre Med Society, Epsilon chapter of Kappa Delta, Girls on the Run Committee for Kappa Delta, Kappa
Delta Shamrock Committee to prevent child abuse.
Davis enjoys running, playing tennis and spending time at the lake. She also enjoys spending her Saturday’s cheering on the LSU Tigers and her Sunday’s supporting the New Orleans Saints.
Olivia Laura Bridewell
Olivia Laura Bridewell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adlai Macmillian Pate and Mr. and Mrs, Joe Bridewell. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Krueger of Natchez, Ms.
Olivia is a 2010 graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge, La. and attended Belmont University in Nashville, Tn. and is now attending LSU in Baton Rouge, La. majoring in Business.
She is a member of the National Honor Society, French Club and Science Club.
She enjoys singing and art.
Her past pageant participation includes Little Maypole and 2012 Court.
Ginny Calhoun Daggett
GInny Calhoun Daggett is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rod Daggett. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Calhoun of Monterey, La. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dick Daggett of Wildsville, La.
Ginny is a 2012 graduate of Cathedral High School and is attending Copiah Lincoln Community College.
While in high school Ginny lettered in slow pitch softball for 3 years, fastpitch for 6 years, track for 5 years and basketball for 4 years. She was named All Disrict in softball and basketball for several years. She was selected to play on the Mississippi Association of Coaches All Star team in fastpitch softball. She was selected to the All State softball team and was named Pitcher of the Year. She was also selected as the Natchez Democrat’s All Metro Player of the Year in fastpitch softball. She was a member of the Pep Club and on the honor roll. She was named to the Homecoming Court her Junior year.
Ginny enjoys photography, athletics and hunting. She and her family attend Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Madison Ann Farmer
Madison Ann Farmer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Farmer. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Lonigro Searcy and Wade Martin and the late Henry and Barbara Farmer of Natchez, Ms.
Madison is the sister of Jordan Farmer, 2009 NGC King.
Madison is a 2010 graduate of Cathedral High School and attends the University of
Southern Mississippi where she is a biology major with plans to attend nursing school to obtain her BSN, followed by graduate school with plans to become a Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority at USM.
In high school she was a varsity cheerleader and member of the 2 time Ms Cheerleading State and South State Champion squads. A 2 year member of the soccer and softball team, a member of the Key Club, a CYO member, freshman Homecoming maid and 2009 CHS Homecoming Queen.
Madison enjoys working out, shopping, swimming, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her Pekingese puppy, Tucker. Madison attends St. Mary Basilica Church.
Her past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Flower Girl, Polka, Picnic, Bridesmaid, Bride of Jefferson Davis, Showboat and Soiree’.
Kathryn Lee Laird
Kathryn Lee “Katelee” Laird is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Laird. She is the granddaughter of Charles and Dorothy Chauvin of Vidalia, La. and Lora Laird of Natchez, Ms. and the late Junior Laird.
Katelee is a 2010 graduate of Cathedral High School. She attends Louisiana State University majoring in Studio Art. She was accepted in the the college of Art and Design at LSU and work recognized in the Printmaking Gallery of LSU.
Katelee enjoys painting, relaxing on Lake Concordia and supporting the LSU Tigers.
Her past pageant participation includes The Hunt and Showboat.
Shelby Elizabeth Strong
Shelby Elizabeth Strong is the daughter of Stacy Copeland and Tony Strong.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hyram Copeland of Vidalia, La. and Mr. and
Mrs. Billy Strong of Natchez, Ms.
Shelby is a 2010 honor graduate of Adams County Christian School. She is a 2012 honors graduate of Copiah Lincoln Community College with a degree in Paralegal Studies. She now attends Louisiana State University majoring in Education. She is a member of the Spanish Club.
Shelby enjoys painting, poetry, writing, cooking and reading.

Mary Catherine Wilkerson
Mary Catherine Wilkerson is the daugher of Mr. and Mrs. William Ulmer II and Mr. and Mrs. Reagan Wilkerson. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Jack Pope Jr., Mr. Jack Walker and the late Gayle Tilbury Walker, the late Mr. and Mrs. McDonald Wilkerson,
Mrs. Anna Ulmer and the late William Ulmer.
Mary Catherine is a 2011 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School. She attends the University of Louisana-Monroe majoring in Graphic Arts.
Mary Catherine is a proud member of the Delta Zeta Chapter of Kappa Delta sorority at the University of Louisiana-Monroe of which she is also a member of the Executive Council. She was also chosen as a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity Dream Court.
Mary Catherine enjoys working with her sorority’s philanthropy, as well as participating in intramural activities on campus. She also enjoys music, singing and all areas of the arts.
Her past pageant participation includes Maypole, Picnic, Placard Bearer, Raising of the Flag, Polka, The Bride in The Wedding as well as Mother of the Bride and Bridesmaid, Soiree’ and Soiree’ lead.
Elizabeth Layne Byrne
Elizabeth ‘Liza’ Layne Byrne is the daughter of Priester and Jessica Byrne. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Swalm and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Byrne all of Natchez, Ms. Liza is in Kindergarten at Cathedral School.
She attends Natchez Ballet Academy and is a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She enjoys singing, playing outside and swimming.
Liza’s past pageant participation is Little Maypole.
Rachel Leigh Prescott
Rachel Leigh Prescott is the daughter of Alison and Rick Prescott. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Swalm and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Prescott, Jr. all of Natchez, Ms.
Rachel attends Cathedral School.
She attends Natchez Ballet Academy and enjoys art and swimming.
Rachel’s past pageant participation is Little Maypole.
Aiden Layne Huff
Aiden Layne Huff is the son of Keith and Angie Huff. He is the grandson of Wilbert and Diane Trisler of Jonesville, La. and Earlene Huff of Harrisonburg, La. and the late Albert Huff.
Aiden attends Kindergarten at Cathedral School.
He was the 2007 Poster Child for the American Heart Association, is a member of the church choir and Mission Friends.
Aiden enjoys gymnastics, t-ball, jumping on the the trampoline, swimming, playing with friends, reading and drawing.
