Cory Jeter, right, an employee of Chops Wrecker & Crane looks over the damage to a Dodge Ram pickup that had been driven off of the northbound lanes of Devereaux Drive, crashed through a concrete and steel barricade and then came to a stop suspended between the northbound and southbound spans of the St. Catherine Creek Bridges on Friday evening. A crane was later brought in to remove the vehicle from the scene. Traffic patterns in the northbound lanes remained largely uninterrupted, while one lane was closed to southbound traffic for a time.
