NATCHEZ — Services for Katie Ruth Clark Dunbar, 81, of Natchez, who died Monday, March 11, 2013, at Claiborne County Nursing Center in Port Gibson, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roosevelt Sewell officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dunbar was born Dec. 2, 1931, in Natchez, the daughter of Robert Long and Katie Counsil. She was a domestic housekeeper.

Mrs. Dunbar was a member of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Dunbar Sr.; and one daughter, Mary Geraldine Dunbar.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley J. Green and Emma R. Dunbar, both of Natchez; two sons, Joseph Dunbar Jr. of Austin, Texas and John Lee Dunbar of Natchez; two sisters, Lorraine Long and Hazel Washington, both of Natchez; one brother, Robert Long Jr. of Southfield, Mich.; granddaughter, Renee Green; and a number of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
