Danny Vines of Natchez and Donna Hill of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Vines, to Mark Bruce Jr., son of Mark Bruce Sr. of Vidalia and Donna Bruce of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Thompson Home School and a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez. She is employed by Chubby’s Dairy Bar in Ferriday.

She is the granddaughter of George and Delores Vines of Natchez, the late Don and Elaine Hutson of Pineville, La., and Gerald Whitehead and the late Shirley Whitehead.

The groom-to-be is employed by Jordan Carriers in Natchez.

He is the grandson of Mr. Carl Bruce of Vidalia and the late Donald M. and Betty Sue Dewitt.

The wedding will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Crosspoint Church in Natchez.

A reception will follow at the church.
