NATCHEZ — Services for Katie Mae “Dollie” Thompson, 58, of Natchez, who died Monday, April 15, 2013, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Greater St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Maurice Irving officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Thompson was born July 29, 1954, in Natchez, the daughter of Ella Mae Thompson and Emanuel Smith. She was a 1973 graduate.

Ms. Thompson worked as a caregiver and was retired. She was Baptist.

He was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John Thompson; and one grandson, Herman Thompson Jr.

Survivors include one brother, Charles “Bebop” Thompson; one son, Herman “Mooky” Thompson and wife, April; one daughter, Karin Thompson and husband, Darius; and long time companion, Herman “Pimp” Phipps.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
