NATCHEZ — Services for Virginia Thompson “Money” Rounds, 66, of Natchez, who died Friday, April 12, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Sinai Baptist Church with the Rev. James Brooks officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rounds was born Aug. 20, 1946, in Natchez, the daughter of Phillip Thompson and Rosie Lee Lyles Thompson. She was a member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rounds was employed by National Furniture Store.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; three sisters; one son; and her husband, Suzette Rounds.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Lewis and husband, James, and Penny Griffin and husband, Larry Griffin Sr.; one sister, Dorothy Lee Johnson and husband, Isaac; two grandsons, Larry Griffin Jr. and Nico Griffin; three great-grandchildren, Kaden and Kaylee Watkins and Journi Griffin, all of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
