NATCHEZ — Services for Walter Lee Havard III, 44, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Parkway Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Brewer and the Rev. Tim Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Havard was born Dec. 3, 1968, in Natchez, the son of Walter Lee Havard Jr. and Brenda Kay Alford Freeman. He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.

Lee loved baseball, hunting, fishing and working as a carpenter. Most of all he loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter Lee Havard Sr. and Shinnie and Kathleen Alford; and a special friend, Holly Dauphin.

Survivors include his father and wife, Cheryl Havard, of Natchez; his mother of Natchez; four children, Hunter Lee Havard of Baton Rouge, Kaitlin Mullins of Starkville, Colby Fitzpatrick of Somerville, Tenn., and Laylie Havard of Natchez; two sisters, Lori Havard Austin and husband, Carter, of Lake St. John and Stephanie Henslee and husband, Brent, of White Oak, Texas; one uncle, Joe Havard and wife, Janette, of Natchez; three nephews, John Carter Austin, Randy Henslee and Chase Henslee; one niece, Amie Henslee; a number of aunts and uncles; and a special friend, Andy Yates of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be Andy Yates, Chad Huber, Paul Thompson, Lane Browning, Donald Bertelsen and Johnny Guice.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Huber, David Coleman, Tony Perez, Glenn Elsensohn Sr., Glenn Elsensohn Jr., Terry Arnold, Willie Thornton, Ronnie Rushing, Jimmy Huber, Joe Stedman, Sonny Gwin, Sammy Cauthen, Gary Smith and Mark Williams.
