Edwin and Sandi Cavin announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth Cavin, to Cy Lambert, son of Stella Lambert and the late Bob Lambert, all of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez and a graduate of Alcorn School of Nursing in Natchez. She is employed by Natchez Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse.

She is the granddaughter of John L. Cavin and the late Edna Cavin of Woodville and Annette Kimbro and the late David Martin of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and is employed by Cauthen Electric in Natchez. He is the grandson of the late Francis and Sam Gates, the late Rosie Lee and Clyde Stewart and the late L.L. Lambert.

The wedding will be at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the residence of the groom in Natchez.

A reception will follow.
