NATCHEZ — Services for James Albert “Jitty” Stampley Jr., 41, of Natchez, who died Monday, April 22, 2013, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hope The Vision Center.

Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Stampley was born Jan. 16, 1972, in Natchez, the son of James Stampley Sr. and Shirley Thomas Stampley.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sidney Thomas Jr.

Survivors include one daughter, Porcha Stampley of League City, Texas; five sons, Tylon Martin, Jasiah Stampley, both of Natchez, Malik Huff of Hattiesburg, Jaden Stampley and Jamen Stampley, both of Richmond, Va.; his parents of Natchez; one sister, Sharon Trenise Goodman and husband, Robert, of Richmond; one granddaughter, Kalle Martin of Natchez; one nephew, Anthony D. Stampley of Richmond; maternal grandmother, Mildred Thomas of Natchez; paternal grandmother, Sarah Scott of Natchez; eight aunts; four uncles; and a number of other relatives and friends.
