Julius W. Johnson and Theresa K. Powell announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Shannon Johnson, to Terry Layne Ezell, son of Terry and Debbie Ezell, all of Savannah, Ga.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Windsor Forest School in Savannah and a graduate of the University of Georgia. She is employed by Life Cycle Engineering in Charleston, S.C.

She is the granddaughter of Elizabeth Johnson and the late Julius Johnson and Marie Orvin and the late Carl Orvin, all of Savannah.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Windsor Forest High School and is employed by AT&T in Charleston.

He is the grandson of Helen Hedglin and the late M.M. “Slim” Hedglin and Harold Ezell Sr. and the late Charlene Ezell, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be Saturday, May 18, 2013, at The Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Savannah.

A reception will follow at Savannah Station.

Formal invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only.
