Ferriday Library hosts computer class

FERRIDAY — The Concordia Parish Library will host a fundamentals computer class titled “Fundamentals Part 1” at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Ferriday library.
Through this course, participants will gain a fundamental understanding of computer networks, the internet and different software. Participants will be provided the basics of initially logging on to computers and navigating the environment of a computer.
Instructor Stephen Collins will also teach using Internet Explorer to browse different subjects and topics, setting up personal e-mail accounts, learning how to use e-mail and much more.
A follow-up class, “Fundamentals Part 2,” will be hosted at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 11.
The classes are free and open to the public.
