OLLA, La. — Graveside services for Vera Evelyn Mitchell, 66, of Sicily Island, who died Saturday, May 5, 2013 at Saint Francis Cabrini  Hospital Hospice  in Alexandria, La., will be at 2 p.m. today at Olla Cemetery with the Rev. A .J. Kimball officiating under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mrs. Mitchell was born born March 21, 1947, the daughter of Richard P. and Vera Geneva Fowler Short.

She was a homemaker.
